About Me

When I’m not conducting research, you’ll probably find me carving through fresh powder, belting harmonies, or racking up Fortnite wins.

Snowboarding

I’ve been snowboarding for over 7+ years, and at this point, I’d consider myself an expert. For you powder hounds out there, I can ride single black diamonds. I’ve shredded mountains across California, Wyoming, and Colorado, but my heart belongs to the Wasatch Watershed in Utah. Snowboarding is my winter therapy, there’s nothing like the rush of wind in my hair, the breathtaking mountain views, and the crisp, fresh air to make me feel alive.

Singing & Music

Music has been a part of my life since I was a kid. I was the soprano section leader in my high school’s advanced show choir, and in college, I sang at open mic nights and the occasional karaoke night. Lately, I’ve been diving back in by joining a chamber choir in grad school.

My playlists live somewhere between neo-soul, funk, Jersey club, trap, R&B, and a little psychedelic rock—think Tame Impala and Crumb. I take pride in going to local shows and discovering artists before they blow up.

Gaming

Gaming has been my lifelong hobby. I started out on the N64 with classics like Donkey Kong, then I graduated to Minecraft and GTA V on the PS2 (still waiting for VI to come out >.<), and in high school I was deep in Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies. Now, I’m a day-one Fortnite player (Season 1 OG!) and still play regularly, it’s my go-to way to unwind and connect with friends.
